Julio Cortes Perez, 90, of Meriden, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus.

Julio was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, December 14, 1932, a son of the late Antonio Cortes and Quintina Perez Guzman.  He was a proud veteran, serving with the United States Army during the Korean War.

Funeral services and interment with military honors will take place in Puerto Rico.
