Josephine W. Fritz, 99, beloved wife of the late Harry P. Fritz Sr. died peacefully at her home in Miami, FL on Thursday January 9, 2014. Born on August 2, 1914 in Norwich, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Benedicta (Zuk) Woronick. Josephine was a longtime resident of Meriden and parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She worked for New Departure from where she retired. Mrs. Fritz is survived by her brother Thaddeus Woronick and her sister Frances Grabiec both of Meriden; three grandchildren: Harry Fritz III, Christopher Fritz, Margaret Fritz; five great grandchildren: Melanie, Heather, Harrison, Mia Fritz and Madeline Tablada. She was predeceased by her son Harry P. Fritz Jr., grand daughter Katherine Gallo and brothers Alfred Woronick, Vincent Woronick, Felix Woronick, Simon Woronick and Benny Woronick.
