John Edward "Jack" DeLorenzo, 73, passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at MidState Medical Center.

Born on September 8, 1946, he was the son of the late Tranquil and Lillian (Perry) DeLorenzo. John attended local schools and was a graduate of Maloney High School, Class of 1964. He proudly served in the United States Airforce during Vietnam. John worked at several restaurants as a Cook and ran the Sober House in Meriden. He was an avid fan of the University of Notre Dame football team. A loving brother, uncle and friend, John will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two sisters: Carol D. Paradis of Southington, Kyle Anne Piascik and her husband Gary of MA; three nieces: Heather Lafontaine and her husband Simon, Jodi Doering and her husband Peter, Jami Paradis and her partner James; four nephews: Randy Paradis and his wife Jennifer, John Piascik, Justin Piascik and his wife Danielle, Stephan Piascik and several great nieces and great nephews.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to John's good friends, Andre Redd and his family and Don Dunn for all of their help, care and compassion for him.

Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service with Military Honors on Saturday March 21 ^st at 10:00 a.m. in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
