Jean Marie Ironside, 85, beloved wife of Donald B. Ironside, died on Sunday April 13, 2014 at Miller Memorial Community. Born on July 11, 1928 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ellen (Sullivan) Hunerkopf. Jean was a longtime resident of Meriden and a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. She was employed as a buyer for Cooks Corner in Westport. Jean enjoyed dancing, skiing and trips to the casino with her husband upon her retirement. She especially loved spending time with her family. Jean is survived by her daughter Jacquelyn E. Trawicki and her husband Kenneth Sr. and her grandson Kenneth S. Trawicki, Jr.
