Holly L. Rooks, 46, died unexpectedly on Sunday March 1, 2015 at MidState Medical Center. Born on April 27, 1968, she is the daughter of Pauline (Stanley) Heath and the late James Heath. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Holly attended local schools. She enjoyed crafting and was an avid reader. A loving mother, daughter and sister, Holly will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter Devon L. Rooks and son Jake S. Rooks both of Meriden; 5 brothers: Steven Heath and wife Lisa, Ronald Heath, Andrew Heath and wife Roxann, Michael Heath and wife Susan, Edward Heath and wife Mariann; 2 sisters: Gayle Heath and Joy Oliano and husband Bob; her former husband Scott Rooks and many stepbrothers, stepsisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: Daniel Heath, Lester Heath and a sister Deanna Boyington. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday March 7, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and attend her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
