Hermetes Chino, 82, of Meriden, loving husband of Serafina Lazaro, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at MidState Medical Center.

Hermetes was born in Mexico, April 5, 1939, a son of the late Hermetes Chino and Maria Marmolejo and had been a Meriden resident for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived and missed by his 7 children, many grandchildren; and wonderful great grandchildren.

He is a man of God, who always provided for his family.  He has preached in churches across the country, and abroad, touching many hearts along the way.

The true definition of a family man, he enjoyed and look forward to the summertime cookouts, when family would all get together and enjoy each others company.  As it was with the grandkids, he loved watching his great grandchildren play, socialize, and start forming the bonds of the next generation.

He will always be loved, and immensely missed by his family and friends.
