Henry B. Gaj, 89 beloved husband of the late Genevieve (Gawel) Gaj died on Sunday October 9, 2016 at Miller Memorial.

Born on March 22, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Francis (Przywara) Gaj. Henry was a lifelong resident of Meriden. He attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. Henry proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated Gaj's Super Service in Meriden. Henry was a member of the PLAV.

Mr. Gaj is survived by his brother, Joseph Gaj and sister, Jenny Edgar both of Meriden and many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen Gaj; four brothers: Theodore, Stanley, Edward and John Gaj and his sister Bernice Kasabucki.

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday October 15th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
