Helen K McLaughlin, wife of the late Charles R. McLaughlin, passed away March 16, 2014. Born on April 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Katherine (Dombrowski) Koncki. A life long resident of Meriden, Helen was a member of the Meriden Council of Catholic Women and the St. Joseph Rosary Society. Her love of family was most important to her. She is survived by her sons: Rev. Richard C. McLaughlin of Portland Me., Thomas F. McLaughlin and wife Sue of Hamden, Lawrence McLaughlin and wife Jill of East Greenwich RI; her daughter Kathryn M. Lloyd of Memphis TN; her grandchildren: Michael and Alexandra McLaughlin, Jamie Chambrelli, Kristy Chambrelli and her husband Jarrod Ratcliffe and great grandson Finlay; her brothers: Anthony Koncki and wife Dot, Stanley Koncki and wife Josephine, Joseph Koncki and wife Lois and a sister Mary Micowski and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Roger V. Lloyd; a brother Henry Koncki and her sisters: Jennie Millsback, Francis Blessing and Anne Larese. The family would like to thank the staff at Maplewoods of Hamden, Apple Rehab Coccomo in Meriden for all of the care they gave to our mother and the Franciscan Home & Hospice for their support during this difficult time.
