Glendaly Hernandez-Vera, 49, of Meriden, loving wife of Carlos Nieves, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 9, 2023 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, surrounded by loved ones.

Glendaly was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, March 13, 1974, the daughter of Nereida Vera Nieves of Meriden and the late Nicasio Hernandez Arocho.  Glendaly was the owner of G&S Cafe for many years.

In addition to her husband Carlos, she is survived by her 2 loving daughters Stephanie Nieves-Hernandez and Genesis Nieves-Hernandez both of Meriden; 2 cherished grandsons Jeziel Gonzalez & Jael Gonzalez; and her brother Wilfredo Hernandez and his wife Arelis Soto of Meriden; many loving cousins; nieces; nephews; and friends.  She was predeceased by her brother Jose Edwin Hernandez.

Glendaly's family will receive relatives and friends at Iglesia Pentecostal Cara A Cara Con Dios, 210 State St., Meriden, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.  Funeral services and Interment in Cementerio Los Sauces will take place in Puerto Rico.
