Geraldine Joan "Gerry" (Paluszewski) Patry, 79, of Meriden, died May 15, 2013, at Masonic Health Center, Wallingford. She was the loving wife of Ronald John Patry for 49 years. She was born at home in Meriden, May, 1933, to Leon and Antoinette (Misiorski) Paluszewski. She was a graduate of Meriden High School Class of 1952. She worked at Kresege's for several years. She married Ronald John Patry on Nov. 28, 1963. She volunteered for many years at Special Olympics and her children's schools serving hot meals, working numerous bazaars, and chaperoned field trips. She was a member of the Children of Mary Society of St. Stanislaus Church, Meriden, and a member of St. Joseph Church, Meriden. She camped for 26 years at Pequot Ledge Campground, Oakdale, where she played Bingo, walked her faithful friend, Midnight, and made many friends. She is survived by her husband, Ronald John, of Meriden; her two children, Marc Patry and his wife, Maritza, of Naugatuck, Sherry Cole and her husband, Perry, of Plainville; her grandchildren whom she adored, Zachariah and Spencer Cole, of Plainville, Nesha and Ralph Figueroa, of Naugatuck; great-granddaughter, Savannah; her sister, Marianna Page Glidden, of Orleans, Mass.; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Lepak and Lucille Paluszewski, both of Meriden; brother-in-law, Carl Forster, of Meriden; and several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her father and mother-in-law, Napoleone and Odinace Patry; her brothers, Walter and Leon Paluszewski; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Forster, Yvette Patry; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Glidden, Julien, Roland, and Gerald Patry; and several friends.
