Gerald W. Lytle, 61, passed away on Thursday May 17, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Born on March 10, 1957 in Dallas, TX he is the son of Bobbie (Scott) Lytle and the late Jackson R. Lytle. A longtime resident of Meriden, Gerald was a member of First Baptist Church and worked for Advanced Auto Parts. He was an avid golfer, reader and a history buff. Gerald enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. A beloved son, brother and uncle he will be greatly missed.

Besides his loving mother, Gerald is survived by his brother Bruce and his wife Modesta; two nieces: Megan, Yahjaira, two nephews: Ryan, Danny and several great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday morning May 22nd from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and attend his funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
