Frank A. Gawlik, 61, beloved husband of Janice (Clark) Gawlik, died Monday October 29, 2012 unexpectedly at MidState Medical Center. Frank was born September 12, 1951 the son of the late Alfred W. and Irene A. (Waukowska) Gawlik. A lifelong resident of Meriden he was a graduate of Platt High School, Class of 1970 and a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. Frank previously worked as a security guard for Cuno. He was an active Model Railroader enthusiast and a member of many various railroading clubs. Frank enjoyed all types of music including the Beatles, The Who and Polka music. He had a great love for animals and was a big fan of playing fantasy football. Frank especially enjoyed traveling to Maine with his family. Besides his loving wife Janice, Frank is survived by his cousin Robert Cichowski of Meriden and many friends and family.
