Francis A. Burbidge, 76, of Meriden passed away unexpectedly at MidState Medical Center on Sunday July 22, 2012. He was born on August 21, 1935, in Meriden to the late John H. and Helen (Perzan) Burbidge and lived in Meriden his entire life. Francis graduated from Meriden High School in 1953. He worked at the International Silver Company, as a custodian at Maloney High School and in the Seafood Department at Waldbaum's in Berlin. Francis will always be remembered for his crafts and ceramics. Francis is survived by his loving wife, Joyce (Leone) Burbidge of 47 years. He also leaves behind his two daughters Kristina Beliveau and her husband John of Meriden and Karen Burbidge of Meriden; his granddaughter Alesha Beliveau and her fiancé David Velsor of Meriden and his mother-in-law Frances Leone of Meriden. He was predeceased by his brother John H. Burbidge Jr.
