Frances A. DiMauro Leone, 95, of Meriden, passed away peacefully at Miller Memorial Community on Sunday July 5, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Leone. She was born on September 5, 1919 in Middletown to the late Joseph and Josephine (Carta) DeMauro. She was employed by the International Silver Co. Factory E. until her retirement and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Frances liked to spend time at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire and enjoyed going to the Belmont and Saratoga Horse Races. Frances leaves a daughter Joyce L. Burbidge with whom she lived; two granddaughters: Karen A. Burbidge and Kristina M. Beliveau and her husband John S. all of Meriden; a great granddaughter Alesha M. Beliveau of Meriden; a sister Angie Misenti of NH: her brother Joseph DeMauro of Chicago and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters: Viola Pasinski, Natalie D. Caponigro, Connie Hawkins, Mary Menard and three brothers: Sebastian DiMauro, Alfred DiMauro and Robert DiMauro. Her funeral will be held on Thursday July 9th at 9:30 a.m. from the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday morning July 9th from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home.
