Obituary

F rances Trybulski Kaczmarczyk, 94, passed away at home on Friday, October 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Walter Kaczmarczyk for 62 years.

She was born in Meriden on November 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Pason) Trybulski, stepdaughter of the late Frank Bogucki, and was a lifelong Meriden resident.

Frances graduated from Meriden High School in 1945 and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. Frances and Walter were the owners of Karz Televsion in Meriden from 1953 to 1995. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, the beach, and spending time with her family. She was an accomplished seamstress, a knitter who knitted dozens of sweaters and afghans, and made Christmas stockings for the family.

She is survived by her daughter Janice and husband David Hunter of Cheshire; sons John Karcz and wife Debbie McBride of St. Augustine FL, Paul Kaczmarczyk and Debbie Fox of Troy, NY, and Daniel and wife Monika Kaczmarczyk of Woodbridge;  ten grandchildren, Kate (Jay) Fountain , Peter (Joanna) Karcz, Matthew (Sonny) Karcz, Sister Clare Hunter FSE, Kara Hunter-Chymbor, David (Diana) Hunter, Jacob(Sara) Hunter, Francis (Carissa) Hunter, Lara and Truman Kaczmarczyk; twenty-two great-grandchildren, Evan, Jordan, and Lucas Chymbor, Aaralyn, Leo, and Aniela Hunter, Isaiah, Eva, Simon, Jude, Levi, Sara Clare, Elizabeth, and Noah Hunter, Elijah, Ezekiel, and Azelie Hunter, Arlo and Emelise Fountain, Wyatt and Molly Karcz, and Grayson Karcz; special friend Evelyn Birdsall; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her loving grandson, Aaron Hunter; and sisters Helen Barlowski and Lorraine Pernal.

The family would like to thank the staff at Franciscan Ever There Care, Franciscan Home and Hospice Care, and care-giver Chris Glover, for their compassionate care of Frances.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct 20 at 9:45AM from the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30AM at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, October 19 from 4:30 until 7:30PM at Meriden Memorial Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Frances may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron St., Meriden, CT 06450.
