Evelyn D. Budusky, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 28, 2018 at Masonicare. She was the wife of the late Anthony R. Budusky her loving husband of 46 years.
Born on September 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Pauline (Kemish) Kawecki. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Meriden, she graduated from Meriden High School Class of 1946 and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. Evelyn enjoyed cooking. Most of all she liked spending time with her family. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother she will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Budusky is survived by her son James Budusky and his fiancé Glenda Owen of So. Meriden; daughter Karen Doolittle and her husband Peter of Wallingford; three grandchildren: Sherri Carolino and her husband Paulo, Jessica Lobner and her husband Daniel, Allison Roman and her husband Kevin; six great grandchildren: Gavin, Jack, Alex, Sophia, Cooper, Liliana and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Robert Budusky; her daughter Christine Kisiel; two brothers and a sister.
The Family would like to thank the staff at Pavilion D at MidState, Westfield Manor, Masonicare Hospice, the Visiting Angels and especially Jen Johnson for the excellent care given to Evelyn.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday May 2nd at 9:30 a.m. from the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady Queen of Angels, St. Joseph Campus, 22 Goodwill Ave, Meriden for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday morning May 2nd from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home.
