Evangeline M. Kiewlen, 97, of Meriden, loving wife of the late Vincent P. Kiewlen, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Bristol Hospital.

Evangeline was born in New York, New York, August 20, 1928, a daughter of the late Anna (Sima) Greer and had been a Meriden resident for many years.  She was employed by Waldbaums until her retirement.  Evangeline was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and was a member of the Holy Rosary Society, and the Sunshine Club.

She is survived by her 3 children Richard Kiewlen and his wife Corinne of Meriden, Vincent Kiewlen Jr. and his wife Anna of Bonita Springs, FL, and Christina Lepi, of Zephyrhills, FL; her 8 grandchildren Nicholas Lepi, Luan Lepi, Tracy Osborne, Matthew Kiewlen, Amy Jackson, Nichole Lochowski, Nathan Lochowski and Andrew Lochowski; 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces; and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter Janette Lochowski; and her half-brothers Francis, Rudolph and Michael Greer.

Evangeline's family would like to thank the staff at Bristol Hospital and KindCare of Bristol for their excellent care and compassion.

Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron St.  Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Meriden.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Evangeline may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd Suite 4b, Southington, CT 06489
