Ernest W. Hathorne, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 7, 2014 at MidState Medical Center. Born in Waterville, Maine on Aug. 27, 1957, he was the son of the late Edward Hathorne and Mary (Roderick) Stange. Ernest was a resident of Meriden for many years. He is retired from the Arc of Meriden -Wallingford. Ernest enjoyed fishing, dancing, listening to country music, and watching country western movies. He is survived by his three brothers: Donald and Jeffrey Hathorne, Frank Stange III and his wife Kim; his sister Sharlene Stange; niece: Brianna Stange; nephews: Frank Stange IV and Solomon Boggs. He also is survived by his girlfriend of many years, Joan Girouard.
