Elba Gonzalez, 73, passed away on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at Hartford Hospital.

Born on October 11, 1944 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Nicolas and Juana (Valentin) Vargas. Elba resided in Meriden for the past 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, her specialty was Pastels and especially playing bingo! A loving Mother and Grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her three sons: Angel Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, Carmelo Gonzalez; two brothers: Pito Vargas, Junior Valentin; two sisters: Gloria Gonzalez, Maria Vargas and many grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday December 10, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home.
