Edward J. Kosinski, age 95, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Midstate Medical Center.

Edward was born July, 1926, in Meriden, CT, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Pietrewicz) Kosinski.    An alumnus of Peabody College (Vanderbilt), Edward was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a beloved teacher at Washington Street School, Lyman Hall High School and Sheehan High School. Sheehan High School named the National Honor Society chapter the "Mark T. Sheehan Edward J. Kosinski Chapter" in his honor. After retiring, he continued his passion for education by teaching adult learning classes at the Wallingford Senior Center for many years.

Edward lovingly spent the better part of his life caring for his two sisters.   He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.  Edward is survived by several nieces; nephews; grandnieces; grandnephews; and great grandnieces; and great grandnephews.

Edward's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, (Stempien Funeral Home), 450 Broad St., Friday, March 25, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.  He will be laid to rest with military honors in a private committal service in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Wallingford.
