Edward Joseph Boganski Sr., 84, beloved husband of Barbara Jean Boganski died on Sunday July 29, 2012 at Gaylord Hospital. Born on September 11, 1927, he was the son of the late Stanley and Tanska Boganski. A life long resident of Meriden, Edward attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. He was employed as a Material Store Manager for the State of CT. Edward was a member of the White Eagles Society, the St. Casimir Society and the Polish Falcons Nest 68. A longtime, enthusiastic Duckpin Bowler; Ed bowled at the Cherry St. Alleys in Meriden and was a member of the Duckpin National Championship team, having captured the title in Baltimore MD in 1950. Edward was also an avid Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan. Besides his loving wife Barbara, Edward is survived by his sons: Edward Joseph Boganski Jr. of Meriden and Mark Charles Boganski Sr. and his wife Debbie of Wallingford; his daughter Christine Ann Boganski of Meriden; two sisters: Helen Burges of Meriden, Jenny Saverino of New Haven; and nine grandchildren: Jacob Boganski, Natasha Boganski, Edward Boganski III, Mark Boganski Jr., Zachary Boganski, Joshua Boganski, Joshua Gallagher, Anthony Gallagher, and Sam Gallagher. He also leaves his devoted cat "Bo". Ed was predeceased by his five brothers: Joseph, Zygmont, Thaddeus, Benjamin and Stanley and two sisters Sophie Kolaski and Stacia Puszka.
