Edith Trifilo, 96, beloved wife of the late Jack T. Trifilo, died on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Westfield Care & Rehab in Meriden.

Born on May 13, 1920 in Hazelton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Carrie (Ackery) Amerose.

Mrs. Trifilo is survived by her sons: Alfred C. Trifilo of Meriden and Joseph Trifilo of Cheshire; a brother Ronald Amerose and his family; sister Genevieve Dellinger and her family; three grandchildren: Jack, Amber, Kelly; four great grandchildren: Chloe, Alivia, Noah, Damian and her dear friends The Pieciuk Family and The Ward Family.
