Edith G. Lipinski, 91, beloved wife of the late Edward J. Lipinski died on Saturday January 19, 2013 at Bride Brook Health & Rehabilitation Center in Niantic. Born March 20, 1921 in Shabuta, MS, she was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Hagan) Graham. Edith was a resident of Meriden and a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church for 38 years. She was employed as a Practice Manager for the office of Drs. Joseph Zimmerman and Carl Butenus from where she retired after many years of service. Edith relocated to East Lyme in 1987 where she joined the parish of St. Matthias Church. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. Edith is survived by her daughter Laura Kokoszka and her husband Chester of East Lyme; a brother Thomas Graham of CA; her two cherished grandchildren: Natasha Ann McLaughlin and her husband Patrick of SC, Amanda Catherine Kokoszka of Danbury and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Stephen Charles Lipinski; two brothers: James and Frank Graham and two sisters Frances Bowman and Willie Wendt. Mrs. Lipinski's family wishes to thank the staff at Bride Brook and Beacon Hospice for the loving and special care given to her.
