Dorothy L. White, 40, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday April 21st. She was the wife of Robert White, her loving husband of 15 years. Born on September 1, 1973 in Green Cove Springs, FL she is the daughter of John Chapman and the late Linda Roller. In 1997 Dorothy met her husband Robert, they got married on September 9, 1999 at Hubbard Park and moved to Connecticut where they resided in Rocky Hill. She was employed as a legal secretary for Feiner Wolfson LLC in Hartford. Dorothy was an avid fisherwoman. She was a volunteer at the Sgt Jeff Boucher Memorial Car Show, a referee with the Harlem Rockets and secretary to Brig. General George Mitchell Ret. A loving wife, mother and grandmother Dorothy will be greatly missed. Dorothy is survived by her children: Kirk Stewart and Tiffany Stewart both of WA, Jennipher White and Alyssa White both of Rocky Hill; two stepchildren: Michael James White and Amber Jean White both of VT; three brothers: James Chapman of MN, Gary Hartley of CA, Nathan Chapman of FL; a sister April N. Brusseau of FL; six cherished grandchildren: Aiden James Bushway, Jayden White, Sophia Curtis, Lilly Neathawk, Giono White, Kaison Oliver Noe and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her infant son Joe. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday May 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 n.n. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
