Dorothy A. Erasmus, 81, died on Sunday April 13, 2014 at MidState Medical Center. Born on February 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Frances (Kurzweil) Erasmus. A lifelong resident of Meriden, she was a graduate of Meriden High School, a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and a member of the St. Stanislaus Sunshine Club. Dorothy was employed as a secretary for the State of CT from where she retired after many years of service. She enjoyed golfing, reading and was a fan of the NY Yankees. Dorothy especially loved dining out with friends and traveling. She visited Hawaii, Poland, Spain and all over Europe. Dorothy is survived by her loving cousin and caregiver Ronald Kurzweil and his wife Kay of East Haddam and many cousins and great cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Edward Parker.
