Dolores Randall (Schipritt), 92, passed peacefully after a sudden illness, to join her beloved husband of 52 years, Harris B. Randall, on October 21, 2018.

A lifelong and active resident of Meriden, she married and raised her family.
She owned and operated a small business, Contelco, served as president the League of Women Voters, Connecticut Trail Riders Association, and the Star Lake 4-H Horse Club. Her passions were traveling, gardening, horseback riding, pets, and her family. Some of her best times were spent with her brothers and sisters at their cottages in RI, CT, and the Carolinas. During retirement, Dolores spent her days admiring her pond and wildlife. Time spent with family and holidays and traveling to Italy was treasured. She loved being part of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Dolores was predeceased by her parents, Martha Finnance and Frank Schipritt, 8 siblings, and two sons, John and George. She's survived by her children: Edward Gagliola, Wayne Gaylord and wife Marina, Mark Gaylord, Mary Jean Giannetti, and Jacqueline Randall; Grandchildren- Tracy Butcher and husband Doug, Wayne Gaylord Jr., John Gaylord and wife Christa, Bryan Gaylord and Melanie, Amber, Nick Giannetti, and Ryan Zamboni; Great Grandchildren: Alina, Aniyah, and Gianna; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be always dearly missed by her children and family.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday evening October 26th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden and attend her funeral service on Saturday October 27th at 10:30 a.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home.
