Obituary

Daniel Rocco Negri was the kind of person you meet once in a lifetime and could never forget.

Beloved son, brother, husband, father, papa and friend, he was born on April 13, 1949 in New Britain. He was the son of the late Rocco Daniel Negri and Cora Rose (Bernardo) Negri.

Daniel grew up in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High, Class of 1968. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he completed 2 tours of active duty in The Vietnam War from 1968-1970. Daniel received many medals of Honor for his service and bravery.

Throughout his life, Daniel worked as a truck driver, manager for Rockwell Farms Barn, a swap meet enthusiast, and he owned and operated the DN Cycle shop in Meriden, where he resided most of his life.

Daniel was a proud veteran who served his country honorably. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved antique cars, trucks and motorcycles. He enjoyed collecting toys, making deals and especially helping people. Daniel had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.

He leaves behind the love of his life and best friend, daughter Amanda Negri Sarango, son in law, Cesar Sarango; his wife Norma Negri; younger kid brother, Frank Negri; his amazing and sweet grandson Austin Sarango, and many great family members and friends.
