Chester Kostus, 90, beloved fiancé of Joan Guerin, passed away on Saturday December 19, 2020 at Hartford Hospital.

Born on June 20, 1930 in New Britain, he was the son of the late Stanley and Stefania (Podhajska) Kostus. Chester was employed as an engineer at Hamilton Standard from where he retired after 35 years of service. He relocated to Southington in 1992. Chester was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in New Britain. He enjoyed dancing, taking walks and traveling. Chester also enjoyed all types of sports and taking trips to the casinos. A kind and gentle man, Chester will be dearly missed.

Mr. Kostus is survived by his loving sister Helen Bochnik of Meriden and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Delvin Case and two sisters: Jean Veronneau, and Ceil Neun.
