Ceil M. Fiorello, 71, of Meriden, loving wife of the late John Fiorello, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Meriden Center in Meriden.

Ceil was born in Meriden, February 28, 1949, a daughter of the late Santino Busca and Amelia Barillaro and had been a lifelong Meriden resident.  She had been employed as a caregiver for many years.

She is survived by her two sons Joseph Fiorello of Tennessee; and Robert Fiorello of Meriden; her daughter-in-law, Shauna Fiorello of Tennessee; her sister Sandra Schipritt; her brother-in-law, Fran Schipritt of Cheshire;  nephews Fran Schipritt Jr and Trey Daniel; nieces Melanie and Alexis Schipritt; and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Belford Carter; father-in-law, Emilio Fiorello; mother-in-law, Catherine Fiorello; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Ceil was very talented in ceramics and an excellent cook, especially in Italian Cuisine. Taking care of people was her passion. And she could always make you laugh; and had a smile that could light up a room. Ceil was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Meriden, CT.

A private graveside service will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.  There will be no calling hours.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Smith-Ruzzo Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
