Carol A. Staszewski, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 16, 2021 at her home in Washington, DC.

Born on December 14, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Adelaide (Mucik) Staszewski. Carol was a graduate of Platt High School, Class of 1960. She relocated to Washington, DC and worked as a secretary first for Congressman Frank Kowalski of CT and then Congressman Lionel Van Deerlin of CA from where she retired. Carol enjoyed all the sights of DC. She loved visiting the museums, especially The Smithsonian.

Carol is survived by her brothers: Raymond P. Staszewski and his wife Christa of TN, Steven C. Staszewski of Meriden and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Roberta Gauthier and brother, twin to Roberta, Richard Staszewski.
