Carol Ann Bochnik, 82, was born in Meriden, CT on November 30, 1942, the daughter of the late Joe and Florence (Dombrowski) Gelt of Meriden, CT and Satellite Beach, FL. She passed peacefully on February 13, 2025. Carol was married to her husband Walter Bochnik for 61 years. In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her daughter Christina Hermann of Mentor, OH, daughter Lynne Stimeling and her husband Ken Stimeling of San Marcos, CA, son Matthew Bochnik and his wife Sandi Krajewski-Bochnik of Mentor, OH, and grandchildren Kristen Hermann, Mark Hermann, Jason Stimeling, and Sierra Cooksky. Carol is also survived by her brother Michael Gelt and his wife Doreen of Enfield, CT, sisters-in-law Dolores Dillon of Portland, CT and Dorothy Cashman of Coatesville, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Carol graduated from Maloney High School in Meriden and Yale Medical Center School of Radiography at the Grace-New Haven Memorial Hospital and was an X-Ray Technician at various medical facilities. She supported numerous community organizations wherever she lived, and loved collecting antiques, painting, gourmet cooking, playing competitive tennis, and singing in various choirs.
