Obituary

Carl J. Belanger, 64, died unexpectedly on Sunday April 8, 2018 at the home he shared with his loving partner, Susan Anderson, in Barre, Massachusetts.

Born on December 23, 1953 in Bristol, he was the son of the late Venny and Germaine (Saucier) Belanger. Carl, a triplet, grew up in Bristol where he attended local schools. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Carl was a self-employed mason. A kind and gentle man he also had a very competitive side. Carl was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to fish, hunt and garden. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Belanger is survived by two brothers: Gary J. Belanger and his wife Libby of Colchester, Ken J. Belanger and his wife Carol of Newington; a sister Carleen Peryga of Cromwell; three step children: Adele McKeon-Millard, Benjamin Pettee, Elyse Gagne; his grandson Dustin Gagne; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and his faithful companion, his dog Coco.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday April 19th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden and attend his funeral service on Friday April 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home.
