Obituary

Brittanney M. Tine, 24, beloved daughter, treasured sister, and adored aunt, died unexpectedly on Tuesday April 19, 2016.

Born January 13, 1992 to Christine (Yara) Tine and the late Michael Tine. Brittanney was a lifelong resident of Meriden and graduated from local schools. An assistant manager at Kiwi Spoon in Wallingford, Brittanney found joy in the arts and loved to draw, paint, and make jewelry.  She was moved by music and could recall a favorite lyric to fit any situation. Brittanney was a lover of all animals and had a special bond with the dogs in her life, Sarge and Candice, her "lil bitty."  She was passionate about learning to cook (especially if it was something that you enhance with ketchup) and couldn't wait to share her culinary creations with her loved ones.  Most important of all, though, was spending time with her cherished nephew, Jackson.  Her love for him is boundless and eternal.

Brittanney is survived by her three loving brothers Paul Tine of Meriden, Christopher Tine of New York, Michael Tine of Wethersfield; her three devoted sisters Janel M. Tine and her partner Nate Rabe of Meriden, Jennifer M. Tine and her husband Robert Meyer of New York City, Ashley M. Tine of Meriden; her nephew Jackson Tine; paternal grandmother Ella Tine of Rocky Hill; special family friend who is like a grandmother to her nephew, Bonnie Rabe of Meriden; and loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her partner, Rob Webb and his mother, Joyce Webb, both of Meriden, as well as countless loyal friends.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Frances Yara, and her paternal grandfather, Paul Tine.

Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Brittanney and pay their respects to her family on Wednesday, April 27th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, CT.
