Barry W. Ryan, 80, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021 at his home in Dauphin, PA surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jacquelyn (Reuwer) Ryan, his loving wife of 58 years.
Born on September 9, 1940 in Meriden, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Lonicki) Ryan. Barry was a family man with a strong commitment to his family and faith. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was liked by everyone who met him. Barry was driven by a strong work ethic and obsession to give to those less fortunate. He was a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame and his great love of the University, especially the football program is renowned!
Barry is survived by his children: Michael Ryan and wife Reba, Matthew Ryan and wife Michele, Daniel Ryan and Melinda Bailey; seven cherished grandchildren: Alyssa Kirchner and husband Phillip, Ashley Myers and husband Patrick, Nicholas Ryan, Elizabeth Ryan, Daley Ryan, Delaney Ryan and Heather Bailey; five beloved great grandchildren: Madeleine, Caden, Rodrigo, Ronald, Gisele: four sisters: Patricia Stempien and husband Ronald, Mary Ellen Evans, Arlene Wusterbarth, Maureen Waldron and husband James, his brother Dennis Ryan and wife Linda; four sisters-in-law: Jacqueline Ryan, Loretta Cowdrill and husband David, Mary Patricia Seurkamp and husband Robert, Nadine Reuwer and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was predeceased by his son John Ryan; brother, William Ryan and three brothers-in-law: Kurt Wusterbarth, Michael Evans and Frank Reuwer.
