Barbara A. Mik, 87, of Meriden, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Barbara was born in Meriden, October 15, 1935, a daughter of the late John J. Mik Sr. and Bernice (Stefanowicz) Mik and had been a lifelong Meriden resident.  Barbara had been employed by the Miller Company in Meriden for 44 years until her retirement and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church.

She is survived by her sister Rita M. Rowley and her husband James of Meriden; her brothers Paul Mik of Meriden, Charles Mik and his wife Cheryl of Durham, John Mik Jr. and his wife Joyce of Meriden; many nieces; nephews; grandnieces; and grandnephews.

Barbara's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial (Stempien) Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Monday, April 17, 2023 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the funeral procession will proceed to St. Stanislaus Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Gifts in memory of Barbara may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.  For online condolences visit: www.meridenmemorialfh.com
