Obituary

Ann (Smith) Collette, 81, of Meriden, loving wife of the late Marty Collette, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Jesus, on Monday, July 15, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Ann was born in Meriden, May 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Nelson Smith and Mary (Pecha) Smith and had been a lifelong resident. She was employed as an Account Clerk for the Meriden Board of Education until her retirement. Ann was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Meriden where she regularly volunteered, and she also participated in a weekly Bible study with a wonderful group of friends. Her favorite place was the beach, where she would enjoy a cup of coffee in hand while looking out over the ocean. Ann loved her family dearly and they were her greatest joy.

She is survived by her two daughters Debbie Ericksen and her husband Steve, and Laurie Martin and her husband Andy; her grandchildren Amanda Langweil, Kyle Ericksen and his wife Tralaina, Mikayla, Josh and Rebecca Ericksen; her great grandchildren Silas and Cade Ericksen; her dear sister-in-law Sandy Driggers; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. She was predeceased by her sister, Marie Levesque.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family, Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 520 Paddock Ave., Meriden.
