Anita (Mason) B. Charge, 97, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on the morning of Sunday March 19, 2017 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford.

Anita was born December 12, 1919 to the late Lena (Zaleski) and Harold Mason. In 1969 Anita married Frank "Norman" Charge and began one of the greatest love stories of our time. Norman predeceased Anita in 2011.

Anita and Norman spent over 40 years together traveling, visiting family and friends, volunteering and laughing all the while. Those who knew Anita, loved Anita. She will be greatly missed. Anita's high sense of fashion and flair made her the centerpiece of any gathering.

Anita was a volunteer for Friends of the Meriden Library and helped out in the kitchen at Bingo at St. Stanislaus Church.

The Zaleski family would like to express great appreciation to the staff across the continuum of care at Masonicare, especially Brian, Yolanda and the rest of the staff on Wooster 2.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian burial on Friday March 24th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
