Alice B. Hepp, 92, passed away peacefully April 10, 2023 at Salmon Brook Rehab and Nursing Home in Glastonbury, CT. She was predeceased by her husband Alton J. Hepp.
Alice was born in Meriden, December 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Stolcman) Banaszewski and had been a lifelong Meriden resident.
Alice was a very active parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and supporter of St. Stanislaus School. She served as an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister and volunteered for and participated in many parish social events. She was member of the Ladies Guild and the Meriden Council of Catholic Women. She retired as a Medical Underwriter from Aetna and had multiple prior positions as a Bank Teller, as well as positions at International Silver, Napier and as a Nurse's Aide. She was always an excellent student and was very proud that she won 1 st place in the Hicks Essay contest while at Meriden High School. Alice loved spending time with all her children, grandchildren and extended family at family gatherings and holidays and watching their sporting events and activities.
Alice is survived by her four children; Donald Hepp and wife Poppy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary Jane Nolan and husband Sean of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Kathy Coleman and husband Vince of Montgomery Village, MD and Christopher Hepp and wife Maria of Glastonbury, CT; nine grandchildren: Jason Hepp and wife Rachel, Donald Hepp, Jr. and wife Dina, Jon Nolan and fiancé Shannon Cook, Jason Nolan and wife Robin, Katrina and Tyler Coleman, Matthew, Christopher and Michael Hepp; six great-grandchildren: Giuliana and Caleb Hepp, Jonathan Nolan and wife Talia, Aidan and Bekah Nolan, Derek Coleman; three great-great grandchildren: Jonathan, Jameson and Isla Nolan and many nieces and nephews. Diane and Gloria provided her much appreciated support and brought her great comfort with their many visits. She is predeceased by her sons Gary and Alton Jr. and siblings Mary Renka, Stephanie Impronto, Julia Gryga, Irene Wollschlager and Theresa Bogucki.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Church (St. Faustina Parish) at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Alice may be made to St. Faustina Parish, 82 Akron St., Meriden, CT. 06450.
