Alfred B. Wrobel's Obituary
Alfred B. "Punky" Wrobel, 80, died on Saturday January 2, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Judith M. (Handel) Wrobel, his loving wife of 60 years.
Born on June 7, 1935 he was the son of the late Benjamin and Stella (Bernarczyk) Wrobel. Alfred was a longtime resident of Meriden. He attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. Alfred was a printer and lithographer for Dominel Press for many years. He enjoyed horse racing, sports and playing pool. A beloved husband and father he will be greatly missed.
Mr. Wrobel is survived by his daughters: Regina J. Wrobel of North Haven and Maria W. Putnam and her husband David of Meriden. He was predeceased by his son Alfred B. Wrobel, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday January 7th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. and attend his funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
