Aida Torres-Rodriguez, 84, of Meriden passed away Thursday December 11, 2013 due to complications of her heart and diabetes. She was surrounded by her loving family who always cared for her. Born in Las Marias, Mayaguez along with her predeceased husband Alberto Torres-Rodriguez who welcomes her in his everlasting presence. She was the daughter of the late Juan Torres and Vicenta Cintron. Aida is survived by her children: Amada Torres, Awilda Gonzalez, Betty Alvarado, Jose Torres and wife Virgen, and Natividad Rodriguez and husband Edwin along with 24 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Aida is predeceased by her awaiting husband Alberto and her two sons: Narciso Torres and Albertito Torres, her brother Reynaldo Sanchez, her granddaughter Yvonne and her son-in-law Angel.
